Completely cured a FTF issue on my Micro .380. This slide stop has a slightly different magazine catch tab than the original that came in my Kimber Micro .380. This one completely cured the original’s tendency to lock the slide with rounds still in the magazine. After about 600 rnds the 380 started to fail to feed occasionally and after about 800 rnds it got so bad I contacted Kimber and received a heavier spring and guide. I was so excited to get it but experienced problems with jams as soon as it came. I read up on it, called Kimber, tried a ton of different ammo and put it many rounds into the hundreds through the firearm. From hanging out on the Kimber Talk forum, it has become standard to break-in the Micro 9 with 124gr ammo as has been mentioned. Also, shoot the thing 'wet' during break-in, firm wrist and tight grip. Another trick is to use a Dremel with felt tip and Flitz to polish the feed ramp and inside of the chamber. Upgrading the magazines is paramount to a reliable Kimber pistol. I always do. The second thing to look at is the poundage of your stock recoil spring.
